You have probably heard about Tsumago & Magome, but not yet well known because of its location in Kiso Valley of Nagano most mountainous terrain in Japan. These old post towns on the former road connecting Tokyo and Kyoto in Edo period are protected and preserved with attractive walking trail.

The Tour goes from Tokyo to Kyoto through by Nagano just like this old arterial NAKASENDO path swing by the city Matsumoto where you will find one of the famous castles built in the 16 century and declared National Treasure. Please take this opportunity and enjoy the journey of the historical and beautiful thickly forested sites of Japan.

Day 1: UK - Tokyo.
Depart the UK for your flight to Tokyo.

Day 2 Tokyo.
On arrival at Tokyo, you will be met and transferred by Airport Limousine bus to your hotel for 2 nights.

Day 3 Tokyo.
After breakfast, you will have a full day tour including Tokyo National Museum, Ameyoko Market, Asakusa Kannon Temple, Sumida River Cruise, Hamarikyu Garden with Tea Break and Ginza Shopping Street.

Day 4 Tokyo 每 Matsumoto.
In the morning, you will escorted by our tour guide to Matsumoto and visit Matsumoto Castle and Matsumoto City Museum of Art. After check in to your hotel for 1 night.

Day 5 Matsumoto 每 Tsumago.
After breakfast at your hotel, our tour guide will take you to Tsumago. On arrival, check in to your hotel for 2 nights. Rest of the day free at leisure.

Day 6 Tsumago 每 Magome 每 Tsumago.
In the morning, you will be escorted by our tour guide to visit Magome. On your way back, touring around Tsumago.

 

Day 7 Tsumago 每 Kyoto.
Today you will be escorted by our tour guide to Nagoya. On arrival at Nagoya, board on a bullet train to Kyoto by yourself. After arrival at Kyoto, check in to your hotel for 3 nights. Rest of the day free at your leisure.

Day 8 Kyoto.
After breakfast, you will start a full day guided tour including Golden Pavilion, Ryoanji - Kiyomizu Temple and Gion Area.

Day 9 Kyoto.
Today you will have another full day tour escorted by our tour guide including Togetsukyo, Tenryuji Temple, Zyojakoin Temple and Arashiyama Area.

Day 10 Kyoto 每 UK.
In the morning, you will be transferred to the Kansai International Airport by Airport Limousine Bus for your return flight to the UK.
